DESCRIPTION:- Dave Kelly is a founder member of The Blues Band. The band r
 etired in 2023 after completing their 42nd Anniversary Tour a little late 
 – do to Covid restrictions. Dave is a stalwart of the UK blues scene\, h
 aving cut his teeth in the backing bands of Howlin’ Wolf and John Lee Ho
 oker as well as playing with Buddy Guy\, Son House and Muddy Waters. The B
 lues Band have released about 20 albums\, and Dave has 18 either solo or w
 ith his own Dave Kelly BandChristine Collister came to prominence original
 ly on the UK roots scene in the 80s\, singing the title song for the BBC d
 rama series Life & Loves Of A She Devil. She was in Richard Thompson’s t
 ouring band from 1985-1988 as vocalist and acoustic guitarist. 1884-1990 s
 aw five acclaimed albums with Clive Gregson with many\, varied and success
 ful collaborations since\, including Daphne’s Flight\, Iain Matthews and
  Loudon Wainwright III\, as well as solo and duo work with a further 15 al
 bums and counting!Dave and Christine's material is drawn from both their m
 usical backgrounds\, but mainly covering songs which they both love but ha
 ve not previously had an opportunity to perform\, within their usual forma
 ts. Some soul standards\, country songs\, rock\, folk and blues\, Stax\, T
 amla\, The Band\, Emmylou Harris\, The Everly Brothers\, Elvis\, (to name 
 but a few) as well as some great contemporary writers and of course\, thei
