 re bakk for one more stab at the onion bag before the year’s end. The cu
 rtain call beckons\, but despite an overwhelming desire for nostalgic loit
 ering\, we look forward\; hope lies in each other. \n\nJoining us this tim
 e -\n\nDevon Rexi \n\nHeading up the bill are the Amsterdam based trio - D
 evon Rexi. As is often the case with truly exceptional artists\, their amo
 rphous sound proudly slips through the cracks defined by genre rigidity. S
 traddling the outer edges of On U Sound dub experimentation and psychedeli
 c post punk\, percussive\, bass led grooves are showered with cacophonous 
 FX driven samples\, loosely tied together by Nushin’s “fried Farsi” 
 vocals. It’s raw\, powerful and sexy sound system music that sits in a s
 onic world entirely of its own creation. Fresh off their mutant dub collab
  album with dance outsider and Hype Williams affiliate\, John T Gast\, Dev
 on Rexi have spent the last couple years bringing their infectious live sh
 ows to righteous parties in the fields and darkened rooms across Europe. W
 e are honoured to welcome them to our swamp before the flood waters reclai
 m it. \n\nFloor Length Skirts\n\nOpening the proceedings and warming thy c
 ockles before Devon Rexi takes the stage is one of the most exciting DJ’
 s around - Floor Length Skirts. With a cursory glance over FLS’ catalog 
 of lengthy mixtapes it would seem impossible that one person could have am
 assed such a boundless collection of mind melters and still have time to f
 unction as a human. To attempt to compile a list of humorous genre descrip
 tors would essentially be futile. Just arrive on time and open thy hearts 
 and minds friends. \n\nRoy Radiant \n\nDriving us through the power hours 
 is Roy Radiant\, aka Elliot. Bakk Heia family member Josh ‘Oblong Frog
 ’ took his brother Elliot to one of our parties many years ago when he w
 as just a wide eyed 18 year old. With his horizons (and neurotransmitters)
  suitably expanded\, Elliot returned home. Since then\, we have loved watc
 hing him grow as a DJ. He selects records straight from the heart\, always
  searching to provide moments of playful chaos and tender connection. This
  ethos is typified in his angelic crew’s Lick Quid Gold parties which ha
 ve run for a number of years in Leeds. In our opinion\, El embodies the sp
 irit of this thing\, with an endless optimism which warms our jaded hearts
 . \n\nBitzer\n\nTo close up shop\, for the last time ever (?)\, thy loyal
