 p Event.\n\nFrom September 8 to 12\, 2027\, Hamburg will once again host t
 he world’s biggest triathlon event. By staging the Grand Finals for the 
 very first time\, the city will become the centre of international elite t
 riathlon for five unforgettable days.\nTwenty years after hosting its firs
 t World Championship event\, the city on the Elbe will once again welcome 
 the world’s best triathletes. Following the World Championships in 2007 
 and 2023\, the 2027 edition marks the next milestone in Hamburg’s triath
 lon history\, featuring the season finale and all world title decisions in
  one spectacular event week.\nMore than 500\,000 spectators lining the com
 pact city-centre courses around Rathausmarkt\, Jungfernstieg and the Alste
 r highlight the extraordinary scale and atmosphere of the event. Over the 
 course of the week\, more than 16\,000 participants\, alongside support st
 aff\, officials and guests from over 80 nations\, are expected in Hamburg.
 \nHamburg 2027 will crown the World Champions in Elite\, U23\, Junior\, Pa
 ra triathlon and Age-Group categories. Registration for the Age-Group Worl
 d Championships races — Sprint\, Standard\, Mixed Relay and Aquabike —
  will open in September 2026.\nTraditionally\, the SUZUKI World Triathlon 
 Hamburg presented by HAMBURG WASSER will also host the Sprint and Standard
  Distance Open Races\, which will celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2027
 . Online registration for the Open Races is scheduled to open in autumn 20
