  Japan’s most distinctive outdoor listening festivals\, held in the brea
 thtaking Nobeyama Highlands of Nagano at an elevation of approximately 1\,
 300 metres.\n\nSurrounded by forests\, open grasslands and expansive mount
 ain landscapes\, the festival brings together musicians\, DJs\, sound arti
 sts\, food makers and independent creators from Japan and around the world
 .\n\nRather than focusing on volume\, spectacle or headline acts\, EACH ST
 ORY is dedicated to deep listening\, thoughtfully curated music and meanin
 gful experiences in nature. Every artist is invited with a specific moment
  of the festival in mind\, creating a carefully crafted journey through so
 und\, landscape and the changing light of the weekend.\n\nSince its launch
  in 2021\, EACH STORY has grown organically through word of mouth\, becomi
 ng a destination for audiences travelling from across Japan and overseas. 
 Despite its growing international reputation\, the festival remains intent
 ionally intimate\, welcoming just 1\,000 attendees each year.\n\nThe 2026 
 edition features internationally acclaimed artists spanning ambient\, expe
 rimental\, folk\, electronic\, contemporary classical and jazz\, including
  legendary Spanish pioneer Suso Saiz\, Austrian sound visionary Fennesz\, 
 acclaimed singer-songwriter Alice Phoebe Lou\, Jim O’Rourke × Eiko Ishi
 bashi\, Marihiko Hara Trio\, Damian Dalla Torre\, together with Tomo Katsu
 rada × Jonny Nash\, Montonn Jira\, Kaoru Inoue\, COMPUMA × Naoyuki Uchid
