  – DJ\, producer and founder of PIV Records – headlines the newly refu
 rbished basement under the arches on Princess Street\, with Watchers in su
 pport. Doors 10pm\, music till 4am. Prunk Nilz Pronk\, better known as Pru
 nk\, has spent the last decade building one of house music's most respecte
 d independent labels. He founded PIV in Amsterdam in 2015\, and the label 
 quickly earned its reputation for a steady run of high quality\, groove-le
 d house EPs that sit somewhere between classic deep house and something al
 together more modern. His own story starts earlier. He was handed an Ian P
 ooley record by his older brother on his eleventh birthday\, started DJing
  at fifteen while EDM was taking over Amsterdam\, and went deliberately th
 e other way – old school deep house\, and the deep\, jackin' US sound of
  artists like Mark Farina. Since then he has toured every continent and pl
 ayed Space in Miami\, Hi and Amnesia in Ibiza\, Awakenings in Amsterdam an
 d Defected in Croatia\, with music out on Defected\, PIV\, Djebali\, Key R
 ecords and Ewax. Expect a proper house set: rolling\, percussive and built
  for a dark basement. Watchers Watchers takes the support slot for the nig
 ht\, warming up the basement ahead of the headline set. The newly refurbis
 hed basement Joshua Brooks has been a cornerstone of Manchester nightlife 
 for over twenty years\, and the basement has just had a full refurbishment
 . Low ceilings\, brick arches and a sound system you feel through the floo
 r – it is one of the few rooms in the city built for exactly this kind o
 f house music. Halloween dress is encouraged\, but not compulsory. Tickets
  Tickets go on sale Friday 25 September at 9am. First release £10\, then 
 £12\, then £15\, with a final release of £17. A limited allocation of 2
