 nt on both sides expressing interest and there is a process in place) The 
 plan: From 6pm - arrive\, grab a drink and chat to some new people (94% of
  people come alone and we float around making intros). 7:30pm - head to yo
 ur area to meet a group of people who we've used science to curate you wit
 h. nothing intense\, just some mini golf with people with similar interest
 s\, age appropriate and who also happen to be single. we've updated our te
 ch so groups are now optimised for both romantic but also platonic matches
  e.g people of your gender who we hope could become mates. the whole point
  of these groups is to feel like you're having an evening with new friends
 \, with the added bonus of meeting new people and knowing everyone is sing
 le. After groups - everyone speaks to everyone over a few drinks our team 
 are all floating if anyone wants wingmanning and it'll basically become a 
 proper party\, with none of the "I wonder if they're single" situation. Cl

 g? How are we doing dating differently? FAQs Are dating events worth it? W
 e have worked very hard to make events for single people that don't feel l
 ike a typical "dating event" which we know can feel very overwhelming. We 
 just hire out great venues\, invest into fun entertainment\, and match sin
 gle people together into groups on the evening so you can go on multiple d
 ates in a low-pressure environment. There are always new dating apps poppi
 ng up\, which all have the same culture of ghosting\, shallowness\, and le
 t's be honest we can barely keep up with our family's whatsapp chat let al
 one a dating app. What are our dating events? Our events use the power of 
 tech to connect similar single people together. When you arrive to the ven
 ue you'll be greeted by our lovely reps\, and then you'll be introduced to
  your matched group. Depending on the event we will introduce you to anoth
 er one or two rounds of single people\, where we match you by differently 
 weighting the parameters of the algorithm. We re-invest profit into fun en
 tertainment on the evening so you have a great night regardless - and host
  a range of events from relaxed drinks in a beer garden\, to something a b
 it more active like arcade games\, to sporty events such as tag rugby or r
 ock climbing. How do you match single people? When you buy a ticket you fi
 ll out a short form with some questions about yourself mapped around resea
 rch we conducted to what leads to meaningful connections. We then run this
  through our algorithm which is a propietary points based matching system 
 using python to detect similarities between each person based on different
  parameters. We then spend hours going through each person to make sure th
 ere has been no discrepancies in the data and even more hours to make sure
  the group ages and ratios are appropriate. Afterwards we analyse each tab
 le to make sure they are placed near tables we think we will match well\, 
 and that are in the best place in the venue based on what we know about th
 e group. How does it work with data? All data is securely managed in line 
 with our data policy\, both this and our code of conduct can be found here
  How does it work with social media? We’re a sociable bunch and always l
 ike to take short video clips for our social media. We’ll always avoid f
 aces wherever possible\, but if you’d rather stay 100% off camera please
  just come and let the team know on the night so we can make a conscious e
 ffort to keep you out of any frame! What's the cancellation policy? There
 ’s a huge amount of work behind the scenes before events to get everyone
  matched into great groups. If you need to transfer your ticket to a frien
 d\, we do ask please that you pop us an email with their name 7 days befor
 e an event so we can move things around. As with every other events compan
 y in our space\, we are unable to facilitate refunds\, but we will always 
 do our 100% best to find a solve!x What’s the age group? The average age
  is 33 but we tend to attract from early 20s to mid 40s and groupings take
  age into account. Is this event wheelchair accessible? Yes\, we will neve
 r work with a venue that isn’t :) Is this a speed dating event? Absolute
 ly not. The thought of having to effectively pitch yourself\, every two mi
 nutes\, to a stranger\, is our worst nightmare and feels the furthest thin
 g in the world away from natural. These events are designed to feel organi
 c and literally like you're having a drink with a group of new friends\, i
 n a great venue. You'll never see or feel any of the science we do behind 
 the scenes and we match in groups to take the pressure off a one on one me
 et-up. Zero pressure\, literally just fun\, kind people\, who have similar
  interests and also happen to be single. 94% of people come alone\, which 
 we've found creates a really friendly atmosphere where it never feels weir
