 -winning flautist Gareth Lockrane\, accompanied by Soner Ersen (piano)\, A
 ndy Cleyndert (bass)\, and Eric Ford (drums).Gareth Lockrane is widely reg
 arded as one of Europe's leading jazz flautists\, celebrated for his virtu
 osity\, expressive improvisation and inventive compositions. A graduate of
  the Royal Academy of Music and now Director of Junior Jazz and Professor 
 of Jazz Saxophone and Flute at the Academy\, Gareth has enjoyed an interna
 tional career as a performer\, composer and educator. He is the leader of 
 the acclaimed Gareth Lockrane Big Band\, the award-winning Grooveyard\, an
 d his own septet\, whose album No Messin' won Best Album at the Parliament
 ary Jazz Awards. As a sideman\, he has performed and recorded with artists
  including Quincy Jones\, Jacob Collier\, Incognito\, Bheki Mseleku\, Mark
  Turner and Louis Cole.Expect an evening of exceptional jazz\, where Garet
 h's remarkable artistry on flute is brought to life through lyrical melodi
 es\, adventurous improvisation and dynamic interplay with an outstanding r
