  2027\, Hamburg will once again host the world’s biggest triathlon event
 . By staging the Grand Finals for the very first time\, the city will beco
 me the centre of international elite triathlon for five unforgettable days
 .\nTwenty years after hosting its first World Championship event\, the cit
 y on the Elbe will once again welcome the world’s best triathletes. Foll
 owing the World Championships in 2007 and 2023\, the 2027 edition marks th
 e next milestone in Hamburg’s triathlon history\, featuring the season f
 inale and all world title decisions in one spectacular event week.\nMore t
 han 500\,000 spectators lining the compact city-centre courses around Rath
 ausmarkt\, Jungfernstieg and the Alster highlight the extraordinary scale 
 and atmosphere of the event. Over the course of the week\, more than 16\,0
 00 participants\, alongside support staff\, officials and guests from over
  80 nations\, are expected in Hamburg.\nHamburg 2027 will crown the World 
 Champions in Elite\, U23\, Junior\, Para triathlon and Age-Group categorie
 s. Registration for the Age-Group World Championships races — Sprint\, S
 tandard\, Mixed Relay and Aquabike — will open in September 2026.\nTradi
 tionally\, the SUZUKI World Triathlon Hamburg presented by HAMBURG WASSER 
 will also host the Sprint and Standard Distance Open Races\, which will ce
