 ifted focus from his tenure with pioneering neo-psych band Green on Red to
  working under his own name. Since then\, his songs have appeared in a sle
 w of films and television shows\, and his work has been covered by Bruce S
 pringsteen\, Solomon Burke\, Heart\, and a host of others. Rolling Stone d
 ubbed him a “streetwise city kid with an eye for the country\,” while 
 Uncut proclaimed him a “renaissance-rocker\,” and NPR declared that 
 “no one can turn tales from the outer limits into catchy songs quite lik
 e Prophet does.” His latest album ‘Wake The Dead’ topped the US Amer
 icana charts for two weeks\, was UNCUT magazine 'Americana Album Of The Mo
 nth' and was followed by his biggest ever European tour with over sixteen 
 sold out shows. He is now set to return\, digging deep into his back catal
 ogue\, performing as a four piece\, including his wife and long-time colla
 borator Stephanie Finch on keys. Support comes from Our Man In The Field.
