DESCRIPTION:Farm Preschool is a nature-based program for parents and/or ca
 regivers and children (ages 1-5) hosted on the farm at Keiki and Plow. Thi
 s small-group (15 max) program will run for 6 weeks with the purpose of nu
 rturing a child's curiosity\, strengthening the roots of connection to sel
 f\, others\, and nature\, and embracing the wild of these wonderful early 
 years. This class also offers a supportive space for families to connect\,
  discuss child development\, rhythm\, and family life\, and grow community
 .During our morning together\, you and your child will experience tending 
 to the land\, enjoy farm fresh snacks\, engage in circle songs\, stories\,
  seasonal crafting\, and explore the uniquely playful learning environment
  that Keiki and Plow has to offer.Program Details6-week sessionOctober 12\
 , 2026 -November 20\, 2026Monday/Wednesdays*9am-12pm$800/child and caregiv
 er1/1 ratio is required*(with option to add on Fridays for additional fee)
 REGISTRATION REQUIRED\, NO WALK-INSThis session is held in all weather\; h
 owever\, in the event of a complete rainout\, make-up days will be schedul
 ed for the week of March 23rd. We encourage each family to discuss their c
 omfort level joining this session\, knowing that we will be hosting classe
 s in varying Winter weather conditions. We ask that you come to class read
 y to experience all conditions with a playful\, curious mindset and with r
 ain boots\, jackets\, and a change of clothes.About our teacherAloha! My n
 ame is Tuyet Dang\, and I am the Educator Coordinator here on the farm\, l
 eading field trips for keiki of all ages throughout the school year. Beyon
 d my time on the farm\, I have approximately 9 years of experience as an e
 ducator andI have taught: preschool at the University of California at Los
  Angeles\, the University of Missouri - St. Louis\, Punahou as a kindergar
 ten teacher during their summer session\, and most recently\, Hanahauoli d
 uring the 2024 summer session.My husband and I moved to Honolulu about 5 y
 ears ago from Los Angeles to raise our son\, Holden\, who is now 4 years o
 ld\, alongside our big ohana. Leaving the city life for island living has 
 been the best decision for our family. We love being able to connect with 
 our aina and truly embracing what is important for our body and minds. Hol
 den and I spent many days at Keiki and Plow when he was just a year old. W
 e loved harvesting our own vegetables and really enjoyed the mud kitchen t
 here! Working here at the farm now brings me so much joy knowing how much 
 we have to offer to all our keiki!I look forward to meeting you and your l
 ittles and embarking on a wonderful learning journey with you all! You may
