  once ran a taqueria kitchen in South Carolina. When she was ready for a c
 hange\, she traded her chef's knife for a mortar and pestle and founded Be
 autiful Briny Sea\, an Atlanta company whose salt blends suggest intriguin
 g backstories\, like French Picnic and Hot Steve.Join us at MODA for an ev
 ening of tasting\, talking\, and blending salt with Suzi herself. She'll w
 alk through her path from restaurant life to founding Beautiful Briny Sea\
 , then guide participants through a crash course in how to taste salt with
  intention\, noticing texture\, mineral character\, and how flavor builds 
 and fades on the tongue. From there\, participants will learn the basics o
 f pairing herbs and spices with salt and build their own custom blend to t

 aught and endlessly curious\, she has grown Beautiful Briny Sea from a one
 -woman operation into a company whose salts and sugars are sold at William
 s-Sonoma and used by chefs and ice cream makers across the country. Her bl
 ends are known for their wit and their stories\, each one built around a f

  doing so\, we can process a refund for the ticket cost (minus a small $10
