 ures a lush\, groove-drenched soundscape blending electronica and acoustic
  instrumentation: cello\, trombone\, saxophones\, vocals\, keys\, flutes\,
  clarinets\, percussion and vintage sound effects – all combining to cre
 ate a vibrant\, cinematic experience. The Adventurer was first presented a
 s part of the Silent Cinema series at Federation Square in February 2026 a
 nd we are very excited to bring the film to Kindred. The Idiomatics are: S

 ayal of Chaplin’s iconic Little Tramp character as an escaped convict.?O
 pening with a thrilling prison escape\, the film?launches into a fast-pace
 d series of chases\, close calls and physical gags that highlight Chaplin
 ’s extraordinary athleticism and impeccable comic timing. Set against se
 aside backdrops and high-society pretensions\,?The Adventurer?blends slaps
 tick chaos with sharp social satire. Bursting with energy\, romance and la
 ugh-out-loud moments\, this classic silent film is a masterclass in visual
  storytelling and remains a joyful introduction to Chaplin’s early film 
 career. Sally Ford and the Idiomatics Formed in 2022\, The Idiomatics brin
 g together an impressive lineup of musicians with backgrounds spanning lat
 in\, ska\, jazz\, funk\, folk\, and film composition. Fusing story-led son
 gwriting with sonic experimentation and contemporary sound design\, the Id
 iomatics have crafted a distinct and dynamic sound. The band has performed
  at Melbourne venues including the Brunswick Ballroom\, Paris Cat\, Athena
 eum Library\, Post Office Hotel and Kindred Bandroom\, as well as feature 
 shows at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival\, Federation Square\, Malthouse Out
 door Stage and festivals around Victoria. ~~ Kindred Bandroom acknowledges
