 が欠けてしまったらちょこっと自分で修繕して、大切
 に使う。そんな暮らしを。 「金継ぎ」とは、破損した
 陶磁器を漆で継ぎ金や銀で上化粧して直すという日本
 のデザイン力を示す伝統技術で、日本で茶の湯が盛ん
 になった室町時代に茶道の世界に始まったといわれて
 います。注目すべき点は、修復するだけでなく、その
 美的価値をもってモノの価値をも高めるという特徴を
 もっていることです。割れて修復した傷跡を「景色」
 といって、そこに美を意識した時代が、かつてはあり

 。日本に伝わる考え方と斬新なアイディアで、独自の
 食カルチャーを確立し、多くの媒体を通じて食のあり
 方を広く伝える。現在は料理教室、金継ぎ教室などを
 多く開催し、食文化のインストラクター、コーディネ

 けて「新漆（簡易金継ぎ）」と「本漆」があり、材料
 ・工程・要する時間・仕上がりなどが異なります。本
 漆と新漆をご用意しておりますので、参加時に講師に
 ご相談ください。 ◼︎新漆（簡易金継ぎ）：接着剤や
 新漆を使用。手軽に1日で仕上げたい方におすすめです
 。(ただし、完全に乾燥するには日にちが必要なため、
 お持ち帰りの際はお気をつけください。) ◼︎本漆：天
 然漆を使用する伝統的な方法で耐久性が高いですが、
 乾燥・工程に時間がかかるため、欠け、割れの状態に
 よって完成までに複数回の参加が必要となります。 ＊
 割れ・欠けの状態によっては（１cm以上の欠け、１つの
 陶器が3つ以上に割れてしまっている場合など）、新漆
 を使用してたとしても１日で完成できない場合があり
 ます。 The first session: "Kintsugi" In "Kintsugi\," you can beautifull

 air it and continue to cherish it. This reflects a way of living that valu
 es and maintains what we have. "Kintsugi" is a traditional Japanese techni
 que that demonstrates Japan's design prowess. It involves mending broken c
 eramics with lacquer and adorning the seams with gold or silver. This prac
 tice began in the world of tea ceremonies during the Muromachi period\, wh
 en the art of tea became popular. A notable aspect of Kintsugi is that it 
 not only repairs but also enhances the aesthetic and intrinsic value of th
 e item. There was a time when the repaired scars\, called "landscapes\," w
 ere appreciated for their beauty. Unfortunately\, the philosophy and techn
 iques of "Kintsugi" are gradually being lost due to a shortage of successo
 rs. Additionally\, many traditional crafts are being impacted by natural d
 isasters and an aging population\, exacerbating the lack of new artisans. 
 Conversely\, in today's era of mass production and consumption\, there see

 rn in Tokyo\, Kazue Ito opened the natural food restaurant "Kuh" in Omotes
 ando from 2001 to 2007\, focusing on brown rice-based cuisine. By combinin
 g traditional Japanese philosophies with innovative ideas\, she establishe
 d a unique food culture and widely communicated her approach to food throu
 gh various media. Currently\, she holds numerous cooking and Kintsugi clas
 ses\, working as a food culture instructor and coordinator. | WHAT TO BRIN
 G | ・Chipped or broken pottery (if you don't have any\, we can provide s
 ome for an additional fee. Let us know when booking.) ・Apron ・Box for 
 carrying the repaired pottery (a box slightly larger than the pottery\, as
  the lacquer will not be dry) | NOTES | There are two main types of kintsu
 gi: Synthetic lacquer(Shin-urushi) and Authentic lacquer(Hon-urushi). They
  differ in materials\, process\, time required and finish. Both lacquers a
 re available at the session. Please consult the instructor at the session.
  ■ Synthetic lacquer(Shin-urushi): Using synthetic adhesive and modern l
 acquer\, this method allows you to complete your repair in just one day. R
 ecommended for beginners or those who want an easy\, quick experience. Ple
 ase note: It takes a few days to dry completely\, so please be careful whe
 n taking it home. ■ Authentic lacquer(Hon-urushi): The traditional techn
 ique using natural lacquer\, offering high durability and a beautiful natu
 ral gloss. Please note: Because the natural lacquer takes time to dry and 
 harden\, the process may require multiple sessions depending on the condit
 ion. ＊Depending on the condition of the cracks or chips\, completion in 
 a single day may not be possible even using synthetic lacquer. (e.g.\, chi
