 d artist\, producer\, and songwriter blending contemporary R&B\, folk\, an
 d singer-songwriter craft while writing in both English and Spanish. Drawi
 ng inspiration from 70s soul artists like Al Green and Curtis Mayfield alo
 ngside contemporary artists such as Frank Ocean and Lianne La Havas\, CEC
 ’s music is defined by slow grooves\, layered vocals\, and emotionally i
 ntimate songwriting. Their songs explore identity\, gender\, and human con
 nection\, inviting listeners into a space of reflection and emotional reso
 nance. \nKnown for both technical precision and a willingness to take cre
 ative risks\, their approach to songwriting and production emphasizes coll
 aboration and organic intimacy\, often blending live instrumentation with 
 layered vocal arrangements. As a performer\, CEC brings warmth\, presence\
 , and emotional honesty to every stage\, drawing audiences into the nuance
 s of each song. \nCEC has toured western Canada and performed at festival
 s including BreakOut West\, the Winnipeg International Jazz Festival\, Win
 nipeg Folk Festival\, PRIDE Winnipeg\, and Festival du Voyageur. Their wor
 k as a producer has earned national recognition\, including selection as o
 ne of seven producers for Music Publishers Canada’s Women in the Studio 
 National Accelerator and a spot in the 2022 First Up with RBCxMusic roster
 . \nBeyond their own music\, CEC competes with the Spanish national hocke
 y team and operates The Clubhouse\, a Winnipeg-based recording studio dedi
 cated to supporting queer and gender-diverse artists\, producers\, and eng
 ineers. Their practice emphasizes on creating spaces where underrepresente
 d voices in music can thrive and be heard.\n-\nPlease note: Food and tabl
 e service will not be available during Jazz at the Fort Garry Hotel perfor
