 urrie \, Del Amitri found their long-term creative backbone in guitarist I
 ain Harvie \, whose presence has been central to the band’s sound for de
 cades. Their breakthrough came with the 1989 album Waking Hours \, featuri
 ng the enduring hit ‘Nothing Ever Happens’ and the deliciously catchy 
 ‘Kiss This Thing Goodbye.’ The early ’90s brought further global rec
 ognition with ‘Always the Last to Know’ and their biggest US success\,
  ‘Roll to Me\,’ which reached Number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and r
 emains a worldwide jukebox favourite. Across seven studio albums\, Del Ami
 tri have sold over six million records \, earning a reputation for sharp s
 ongwriting\, wry lyricism and melodic\, emotionally resonant rock that con
 tinues to connect across generations. After a hiatus in the 2000s\, the ba
 nd returned for sold-out reunion tours and\, in 2021\, released Fatal Mist
 akes \, their first collection of new music in 18 years\, reaffirming thei
