 ersary of the iconic House of OM: Colette & DJ Heather compilation marks a
  milestone for two pioneers of the electronic music scene. Released in Jun
 e 2006 on OM Records\, this double-disc mix became a definitive moment for
  Chicago house music\, spotlighting the lifelong friendship and musical sy
 nergy of two of the genre's most formidable talents.\n\nBefore they became
  global headliners\, Colette and DJ Heather forged their bond in the ferti
 le underground of 1990s Chicago\, driven by a shared love for the city's s
 ignature four-on-the-floor sound. By the mid-2000s\, both artists had been
  signed to San Francisco’s powerhouse label\, OM Records\, establishing 
 themselves as heavy hitters who performed hundreds of shows annually. This
  culminated in the release of House of OM: Colette & DJ Heather. The doubl
 e-album perfectly captured their complementary sonic identities:\n\nDisc 1
  (Colette) sparkled with smooth\, funky\, vocal-heavy tracks\, featuring h
 er own performance on "All The Same" alongside contributions from Kaskade
 \, Andy Caldwell\, and Greenskeepers.\n\nDisc 2 (DJ Heather) delivered a d
 eeper\, instrumental-focused exploration of Chicago jack\, featuring track
 s from Inland Knights\, Giom\, and Mark Farina.\n\nThe release was an inst
 ant underground and commercial favourite within the dance community\, serv
 ing as a masterclass in track selection and seamless mixing. Following the
  release\, the duo embarked on extensive North American tours with fellow 
 OM label mates. The success of those shows laid the groundwork for their a
 nnual Second City Sessions tours\, launched in 2009. This collaborative ba
 nner featured Colette and DJ Heather playing extended back-to-back sets\, 
 a tradition that has earned a massive\, dedicated following over the decad
 es.\n\nReflecting on their long personal friendship and the 20-year legacy
  of the House of OM era\, both artists have deep gratitude for their endur
