DESCRIPTION:Since the release of his sophomore record *…And His Splash Ba
 nd* in the fall of 2024\, Liam Benzvi has resided between New York and Mex
 ico City\, lent his voice to various projects (Blood Orange’s Essex Hone
 y\, Turnstile’s Never Enough\, Dan English’s Sky Record\, and Macy Rod
 man’s SCALD)\, and mostly been hard at work on his third record\, TBA. H
 e released a demo version of an upcoming album song “The Wall” late la
 st year\, which Pitchfork ranked among the best releases of the week. He
 ’s as of late assembled an inspiring new cohort of collaborators: Kaye L
 oggins of Time Wharp\, Tony Vaz and Rob Klein in crafting his newest colle
 ction of music. It’s a frayed-at-the-edges\, janglier rock sound that ho
 nors pop music doctrine but introduces a more challenging\, rawer expressi
 on. This upcoming performance at Public Records will be Liam’s first in
