DESCRIPTION:The group meets Tuesdays (except school holidays) between 9.30a
 m and 10.30am to share tips about lipreading and to meet other people inte
 rested in learning lipreading. Lip reading enables you to “listen” to 
 a speaker by watching the speaker’s face to figure out their speech patt
 erns\, movements\, gestures and expressions. It goes beyond simply reading
  the lips of a speaker to decipher individual words. Learning to lip read 
 involves developing and practicing certain skills that can make the proces
 s much easier and more effective. Library group events can be subject to c
