DESCRIPTION:The Cape Town Concert Series has celebrated over 70 years of mu
 sic making with more than 1000 solo and chamber music recitals. Our second
  season for 2026 has a proudly South African foundation bringing chamber m
 usic\, Baroque and new works to the fore. This October we celebrate a bran
 d-new composition by Hendrik Hofmeyr written especially for this Piano Qua
 rtet featuring Peter Martens on cello\, Suzanne Martens on violin\, Maya E
 gashira on viola and pianist Jose Dias. The Piano Quartet by Hendrik Hofme
 yr is framed between two iconic chamber quartets – Mozart’s Piano Quar
