DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of rollerskating and joyful movement at
  our Black history month celebration event. This will be an open space for
  QTIBPoC+ of all ages (16+) and skating abilities who would like to celebr
 ate Black culture altogether.There will be a group skating lesson at the s
 tart with Rollerstop professionals so that everyone feels comfortable\, fo
 llowed by an hour of free skating around the rink. Rink staff members and 
 coaches will also be there to support you the whole time. Skate hire and p
 rotective equipment is included in every ticket however feel free to bring
  your own skates if you'd prefer. Our skating will also be soundtracked by
  local Queer/Trans Black DJs <3If you want to come along and just watch fr
 om the sidelines - please select the free ‘observer’ ticket. Please no
 te\, we cannot accept any last minute skaters on the day so please only ge
 t this ticket if you are 100% you don't want to skate.Light African and Ca
 rribbean snacks and drinks will be provided too.Feel free to come dressed 
 in your cultural attire to celebrate our history together.~Important infor
 mation (please read carefully)All QTBPoC+ aged 16+ are welcome to this eve
 nt however please remember that we are here to celebrate Black people and 
 culture together. We need to give Rollerstop numbers for the event one wee
 k in advance (ticket sales will close on 2nd October)\, and have been advi
 sed others cannot pay on the day/join last minute unless there are cancell
 ations. If you join our waiting list or email us we will let you know if t
 his is possible.We are not allowed to enter the venue before our allocated
  slot so please meet outside the venue at 7:55pm.Rollerstop is a dry venue
 . Anyone who arrives in\, or is subsequently found to be in an intoxicated
  state will be asked to leave and no refund will be provided.If you need t
 ravel expenses (public transport) reimbursed we can do this for you\, just
  keep your receipt and bring it along with you. If there is anything else

 k rulesRoller skating\, like any sport\, comes with some risk of injury. W
 hile this is normally only a few bumps and bruises\, there is the potentia
 l for more serious injury. To minimise the risk of serious injury\, we hav
 e guidelines to help make the experience a safer and more enjoyable one fo
 r everyone involved.The rink rules are for everyone’s safety\, our skate
  marshals job is to ensure the rules are enforced\, please be mindful of h
 ow you are behaving and support our staff in providing a safe skating envi
 ronment. All skaters must skate in the same direction.Keep moving on the r
 ink.No pushing or playing tig.Absolutely no food or drink on the rink at a
 ny time.Read all information before entering rink.Wear the protective equi
 pment providedAlert staff of any first aid emergencies Be considerate and
