SUMMARY:No\, No\, Nanette presented in partnership with Symphony in C
LOCATION:Walter K Gordon Theater
DESCRIPTION:Rutgers-Camden Theater and Symphony in C Present No\, No\, Nan
ette No\, No\, Nanette is a classic musical comedy with a glittering score
by Vincent Youmans\, one of the most important and prolific composers of
the 1920s. This Rutgers-Camden Theater production\, in collaboration with
Symphony in C \, features professional and student actors performing with
a thrilling 31-piece orchestra. The show was famously revived on Broadway
in 1971 at the height of the nostalgia craze staffing the legendary tapper
Ruby Keeler\, earning multiple Tony Awards. Our production will be using
the 1971 orchestrations by Ralph Burns and dance arrangements by Luther He
nderson. The wacky story involves three couples sharing a cottage in Atlan
tic City in the midst of a blackmail scheme\, with plenty of deception\, r
omantic mishaps\, and comical misunderstandings. The score includes two of
the best-known songs in musical theatre -- "Tea for Two" and "I Want to b
e Happy". For questions\, wheelchair seating\, or group sales\, please ema
