  You’ve found ‘Femmes To The Front’\, Liverpool’s new women-led im
 provised jazz\, soul and R&B jam. Centred on young women\, trans\, non-bin
 ary and gender-diverse musicians\, ‘Femmes To The Front’ is a space to
  play\, experiment\, make mistakes\, build confidence and thrive together 
 before witnessing our house band create new music with very special guests
 . All ages are welcome but if you’re 14-25 and play an instrument\, prod
 uce beats\, write songs in your bedroom or want to get better by playing w
 ith other musicians\, this is your space. If you're new to the stage and n
 ervous about the spotlight\, join us from 6PM for the masterclass where we
  will be diving into improvisation and performance. This jam is open to an
 yone who plays keys\, bass\, drums\, guitar\, horns\, percussion\, sings\,
  writes songs or makes beats. Bring your instrument and your ideas and jum
 p in. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been playing for ten years or you’
 re just beginning\, this is about showing up\, seeing each other and growi
 ng together. From 8PM\, our house band takes the stage for the main event
 \, the 'House Band Jam'\, inviting some of the best vocalists in the scene
  to create new music\, on the spot\, so lovers of jazz/ soul/ R&B\, make s
 ure you're in the room. Created in partnership with Rough Trade\, Tomorrow
 ’s Warriors\, Believe and Sound! Music Hub\, the ‘Femmes To The Front
 ’ community will also have opportunities to meet inspiring artists befor
 e the jam with a masterclass\, hear from music industry professionals and 
 learn about careers in performance\, production\, songwriting\, publishing
  and beyond. We’re building the kind of musical community we wish we’d
  had growing up\; One that’s ambitious\, welcoming\, collaborative and r
 ooted in the belief that the future of Liverpool’s music scene should ma
