 ry over the Spanish Armada in 1588\, Edward III follows the exploits of Ki
 ng Edward III and his son Edward\, the Black Prince of Wales. England domi
 nates on the battlefield as the play explores questions of kinghood and ch
 ivalry through the actions of King Edward and his son. Octavio Solis’s t
 ranslation of the play provides all of the complexity and richness of the 
 original while renewing the allusions and metaphors lost through time. Eng
 aging with Edward III by William Shakespeare Octavio Solis (Playwright - E
 dward III ) Octavio Solis’ works have been mounted in theatres across th
 e country such as the Oregon Shakespeare Festival\, Berkeley Rep\, Seattle
  Repertory Theatre\, Portland Center Stage\, the Alley Theatre\, Dallas Th
 eater Center\, Center Theatre Group\, Yale Repertory Theatre\, Denver Cent
 er for the Performing Arts and Hartford Stage. He worked as a voice actor/
