DESCRIPTION:OM Presents: SIX BY SEVEN Six By Seven are an English indie roc
 k band formed in Nottingham in the early 1990s. The acclaimed veterans\, w
 ho formed in Nottingham in the 1990s - play alt-rock and neo-psychedelia t
 unes. Led by singer\, guitarist and songwriter Chris Olley\, the band beca
 me known for their intense blend of space rock\, shoegaze\, psychedelia an
 d post-rock. Their 1997 single “European Me” sold out rapidly\, earnin
 g them a deal with Beggars Banquet and leading to their acclaimed debut al
 bum\, The Things We Make (1998). They followed it with The Closer You Get 
 (2000)\, widely regarded as a landmark album. After several line-up change
 s and break-ups\, Six by Seven have periodically reformed\, continuing to 
 perform and release music. Six By Seven recorded 5 Peel sessions in their 
 time as well as touring extensively\, also supporting the likes of Ash\, M
 anic Street Preachers\, The Dandy Warhols\, and Placebo. They also played 
 on the acclaimed BBC Later With Jools Holland Show in 1998. This will be t
