 asuak is back for selected dates up and down the East Coast. “The Shiny 
 Side Tour” takes in three states and the ACT in a run that the former Ra
 dio Birdman\, Hitmen\, New Christs\, and Screaming Tribesmen guitarist say
 s is “both unfinished business and an obligation”. Masuak and his crac
 k band\, Dog Soldier\, play Marrickville Bowling Club in their only Sydney
  show on Saturday\, October 24 with support from punk rock jukebox Fuck Th
 e Neighbours and fast and furious locals\, The Stallers. “It was frustra
 ting and a bit frightening to have to cancel so abruptly but an emergency 
 operation made air travel out of the question\,” Masuak says. “I’m v
 ery happy to finally be able to follow up.” Fresh from a string of gigs 
 in France\, Germany and Poland\, Masuak and his crack Australian band\, Do
 g Soldier\, will be touring their 2026 album\, “Chris Masuak’s Dog Sol
 dier”\, already out on CD and just been released on vinyl. Chris Masuak
 ’s Dog Soldier is drummer Stuart Wilson (Lime Spiders\, New Christs\, Th
 e Crisps) and Phil Hall (Sardine v\, Drop Bears\, Lime Spiders) and the se
 t list will be drawn from Masuak’s long and storied career. “After war
