SUMMARY:Wild Pink
LOCATION:Manchester Gullivers
DESCRIPTION:Plus newhvn - Still Coming Down is Wild Pink’s sixth studio
album\, and their most refined offering to-date. Continuing along the shre
dded and steely path forged by 2024’s Dulling The Horns — named one of
the year’s best albums by Vogue\, Consequence\, Paste and more — Stil
l Coming Down doubles down on Wild Pink’s ‘proper Rock’ (Stereogum\,
Best Albums of 2024) and sticks every landing.Dulling The Horns saw Wild
Pink reach new levels of critical acclaim and live success\, performing al
ongside the likes of indie torchbearers Dr. Dog\, Crumb and MJ Lenderman (
who lends his guitar skills on Still Coming Down).Still Coming Down finish
es out the ride of those highs\, settling into a life on the road and refl
ecting these experiences across a warped and encyclopedic vision of Americ
 a. Led by John Ross\, ‘one of the best lyricists in indie music’ (the
Guardian)\, Wild Pink hunkered down in Asheville’s storied Drop of Sun S
tudios to record Still Coming Down with virtuosic producer Alex Farrar (Bn
ny\, Wednesday\, Samia). At once strange and familiar\, Wild Pink’s Stil
l Coming Down is a product of modern times that only John Ross could pen.T
our support comes from newhvn. Emerging in 2025 from Liverpool\, United Ki
ngdom\, newhvn blends rock\, alternative rock and grunge into a genre-defy
ing sound. From the remains of a post-rock instrumental band\, the project
newhvn has surfaced\, blending together their post-rock roots with their
shoe- gaze and post-hardcore influences.Having toured the world and releas
ed two albums as their former project A Burial at Sea\, newhvn have had ye
ars of experience on the road\, building fanbases up around Ireland\, UK\,
Europe and Asia and have supported bands such as And So I Watch You From
Afar\, The Ocean\, and This Will Destroy You. They’ve also made appearan
ces at festivals like ArcTanGent (UK)\, Post in Paris (FR)\, Bergmal (SW)\
, and Dunk (BE). Wanting to break away from their post-rock sound\, the re
mains of A Burial at Sea took themselves to Black Bay Studios on the Isle
of Lewis\, Scotland and newhvn was born. Pulling influences from Pinegrove
and Cloakroom\, and combined it with their post-rock background a collect
ion of 10 songs were formed\, to be released in 2026.\n\nBoletos: https://
