 yre Play\, in the heart of Edinburgh city centre. Think fairground style g
 ames\, amazing music and everyone single. These guys have everything from 
 basketball challenges to tin can alley and we can confirm their staff have
  some of the most iconic energy ever... Your ticket includes: being matche
 d using our technology with groups of people who have similar interests ga
 mes light optional icebreakers team haystack making introductions access t
 o our "missed connections" programme where we invite people to connect who
  didn't exchange phone numbers (please note this is dependent on both side
 s expressing interest and there is a process in place) The plan: From 6pm 
 - arrive\, grab a drink and chat to some new people (94% of people come al
 one and we float around making intros) 7.30pm - it's game time...you'll be
  connected to a group of compatible single people and battle head to head
 \, making your way around the fairground style games. we'll mix things up 
 halfway through so you get a chance to meet more people! the whole point o
 f these groups is to feel like you're having a drink with friends\, with t
 he added bonus of meeting new people and knowing everyone is single. we be
 lieve dating should be fun\, so we're here to bring that back. After group
 s - everyone speaks to everyone and our team are all floating if anyone wa
 nts wingmanning. the event basically becomes a bar\, full of interesting p
 eople who want to meet new people and none of the "I wonder if they're sin
 gle" situation. ideally with everyone holding massive stuffed ducks that t

 worth it? We have worked very hard to make events for single people that d
 on't feel like a typical "dating event" which we know can feel very overwh
 elming. We just hire out great venues\, invest into fun entertainment\, an
 d match single people together into groups on the evening so you can go on
  multiple dates in a low-pressure environment. There are always new dating
  apps popping up\, which all have the same culture of ghosting\, shallowne
 ss\, and let's be honest we can barely keep up with our family's whatsapp 
 chat let alone a dating app. What are our dating events? Our events use th
 e power of tech to connect similar single people together. When you arrive
  to the venue you'll be greeted by our lovely reps\, and then you'll be in
 troduced to your matched group. Depending on the event we will introduce y
 ou to another one or two rounds of single people\, where we match you by d
 ifferently weighting the parameters of the algorithm. We re-invest profit 
 into fun entertainment on the evening so you have a great night regardless
  - and host a range of events from relaxed drinks in a beer garden\, to so
 mething a bit more active like arcade games\, to sporty events such as tag
  rugby or rock climbing. How do you match single people? When you buy a ti
 cket you fill out a short form with some questions about yourself mapped a
 round research we conducted to what leads to meaningful connections. We th
 en run this through our algorithm which is a propietary points based match
 ing system using python to detect similarities between each person based o
 n different parameters. We then spend hours going through each person to m
 ake sure there has been no discrepancies in the data and even more hours t
 o make sure the group ages and ratios are appropriate. Afterwards we analy
 se each table to make sure they are placed near tables we think we will ma
 tch well\, and that are in the best place in the venue based on what we kn
 ow about the group. How does it work with data? All data is securely manag
 ed in line with our data policy\, both this and our code of conduct can be
  found here How does it work with social media? We’re a sociable bunch a
 nd always like to take short video clips for our social media. We’ll alw
 ays avoid faces wherever possible\, but if you’d rather stay 100% off ca
 mera please just come and let the team know on the night so we can make a 
 conscious effort to keep you out of any frame! What's the cancellation pol
 icy? There’s a huge amount of work behind the scenes before events to ge
 t everyone matched into great groups. If you need to transfer your ticket 
 to a friend\, we do ask please that you pop us an email with their name 7 
 days before an event so we can move things around. As with every other eve
 nts company in our space\, we are unable to facilitate refunds\, but we wi
 ll always do our 100% best to find a solve!x What’s the age group? The a
 verage age is 33 but we tend to attract from early 20s to mid 40s and grou
 pings take age into account. Is this event wheelchair accessible? Yes\, we
  will never work with a venue that isn’t :) Is this a speed dating event
 ? Absolutely not. The thought of having to effectively pitch yourself\, ev
 ery two minutes\, to a stranger\, is our worst nightmare and feels the fur
 thest thing in the world away from natural. These events are designed to f
 eel organic and literally like you're having a drink with a group of new f
 riends\, in a great venue. You'll never see or feel any of the science we 
 do behind the scenes and we match in groups to take the pressure off a one
  on one meet-up. Zero pressure\, literally just fun\, kind people\, who ha
 ve similar interests and also happen to be single. 94% of people come alon
 e\, which we've found creates a really friendly atmosphere where it never 
 feels weird to strike up a conversation (which let's be honest\, in pubs i
