 ouse AwardThe Davidoff Trio\, founded in Mainz in 2021\, is considered one
  of the most interesting up-and-coming piano trios in the European chamber
  music scene.Regularly appearing on international stages\, the trio has pe
 rformed at festivals including the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival\, the
  Brixen Classics Festival\, the Ernen Music Village Festival\, and the Swi
 ss Chamber Music Festival Adelboden. In April 2025\, the trio won the pres
 tigious Parkhouse Award in London and has received numerous other national
  and international awards\, most recently at the 2026 Osaka International 
 Chamber Music Competition\, the 2025 International Joseph Joachim Chamber 
 Music Competition\, the 2024 Gianni Bergamo International Classic Music Aw
 ard\, the Folkwang Prize\, and the Walbusch Prize of Jeunesses Musicales G
 ermany.For the 2025-2027 seasons\, the trio was appointed Ensemble in Resi
 dence at the ProQuartet - Centre Européen de Musique de Chambre in Paris.
  The ensemble is also a scholarship recipient of the Werner Richard – Dr
 . Carl Dörken Foundation and receives support from the Walter Kaminsky Fo
 undation and the Manfred and Ursula Müller Foundation. Concert recordings
  have been broadcast internationally on radio several times\, most recentl
 y on SRF Kultur and WDR3.The trio is currently studying for their concert 
 exam at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen under Thomas Hoppe\, 
 and at the International Institute for Chamber Music of the Reina Sofía S
 chool of Music in Madrid\, where they were most recently trained by Günte
 r Pichler. They have also received significant artistic inspiration from K
 onstantin Heidrich\, Andreas Lehmann\, Luc-Marie Aguera\, and Yovan Markov
 itch.With the aim of making classical music accessible to a wider audience
  through innovative concert formats and unusual concert venues\, the trio 
 launched an interdisciplinary concert series in January 2025 (supported\, 
 among other things\, by the #MusikerZukunft scholarship of the German Orch
 estra Foundation) in the popular Mainz bar “Nirgendwo”\, which combine
 s classical music with jazz and poetry.Performances in 2026 will take the 
 trio across Germany\, to Spain\, England\, Italy\, Finland and Japan\, and
  will include highlights such as their debut with Beethoven's Triple Conce
 rto at the Philharmonie Essen and a recital at Wigmore Hall.Johannes plays
  a violin by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume (Paris\, 1861)\, which has been gener
 ously loaned to him from a private collection. Christoph is currently play
