 a three-time Juno Award-winning songwriter from Ontario\, Canada. He has w
 ritten and recorded an extensive and acclaimed catalogue of studio albums 
 and original songs\, beginning with his self-titled debut in 1995. Ron rel
 eased his eighteenth studio album in August 2025.In the past few decades a
 s a headlining artist\, Ron has performed at some of the most prestigious 
 venues in the world\, including Massey Hall\, Carnegie Hall\, London's Roy
 al Albert Hall\, and the London Palladium.A child of melody\, his music ha
 s been described as a hybrid of Canadian folk heroes such as Gordon Lightf
 oot and Leonard Cohen\, mingled with the influence of The Kinks\, The Beat
 les\, and other British Invasion acts from his formative years.His songs h
 ave been covered by many revered artists\, including Rod Stewart\, k.d. la
 ng\, Emmylou Harris\, Michael Bublé\, Feist\, Elvis Costello\, and Stevie
  Nicks\, to name just a few.In 2017\, Ron penned his first novel\, Deer Li
 fe: A Fairy Tale\, published worldwide by Dundurn Press Limited. He has al
 so written a complete musical score to accompany the tale\, with the visio
 n of bringing the story to the stage as a musical or adapting it for film.
 Ron made his theatrical composer debut in 2025 with the internationally re
 nowned Stratford Festival production of As You Like It in Stratford\, Onta
 rio.He currently lives in Perth County\, Ontario\, with his wife\, his pia
 no\, and his vinyl record collection\, and continues to be inspired to wri
