e greatest operatic arias ever written to showcase the brilliance of the t
enor voice.\n\nThe Three Tenors phenomenon was born in Rome in 1990\, on t
he eve of the World Cup\, when three superstar tenors brought opera to a v
ast global audience and created one of the best-selling classical albums o
f all time. This programme captures that same sense of occasion\, celebrat
ing the power\, romance and excitement of the great tenor repertoire.\n\nS
panning opera\, song and operetta\, the programme ranges from the sunlit w
armth of Neapolitan classics such as Torna a Surriento and ’O sole mio t
o the great showstoppers of Italian opera\, including the famous drinking
song from La traviata and the instantly recognisable La donna è mobile fr
om Rigoletto. Also featured are some of opera’s other best-loved arias\,
including Donizetti’s Una furtiva lagrima and Puccini’s E lucevan le
stelle\, alongside the elegance and charm of Viennese operetta favourites
by Lehár.\n\nSacred works including Franck’s Panis Angelicus and Schube
rt’s Ave Maria bring moments of stillness and reflection\, before the ev
ening builds to one of the most thrilling climaxes in all opera: Puccini
 ’s Nessun dorma.\n\nBoletos: https://feverup.com/m/679654
