 te Band Coney Hatch etablierte sich schnell in den 80er Jahren als eine de
 r führenden Hard-Rock-Bands Kanadas. Bekannt für ihren kraftvollen Gesan
 g\, ihr starkes Songwriting und ihre mitreißenden Live-Auftritte\, erspie
 lte sich die Band während der goldenen Ära des melodischen Hard Rock ein
 e treue internationale Fangemeinde. Ihr selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum (1982
 ) erreichte in Kanada Goldstatus und enthielt Rockhymnen wie „Hey Operat
 or“\, „Devil’s Deck“ und „Monkey Bars“.  Weiter Alben wie Outt
 a Hand (1983) und Friction (1985) folgten. Frontman und Sänger Carl Dixon
  liefert auf Friction eine seiner beste Gesangsleistung ab und Barry Conno
 rs\, der Neuzugang an den Drums\, schiebt gemeinsam mit Bassist Andy Curra
 n alles ordentlich nach vorne. Herausragenden Songs wie „She’s Gone“
 \, „Fantasy“\, „Girl From Last Night’s Dream“\, „This Ain’t
