SUMMARY:Substance at the Spice of Life Featuring – Mamoko
LOCATION:London The Spice of Life
DESCRIPTION:- Thursday 26th of November Substance at the Spice of Life Feat
uring – Mamoko The Spice of Life is a Soho landmark\, historic music ven
ue and is in the heart of London's West End. Renowned for having a great l
ive sound The Spice of Life and Substance have worked together for over 18
years to bring the very best new music to the heart of the capital. "One
of the best little venues in London" Evening StandardThe Line up MamokoWe
are Mamoko. Fronted by London-based musician Charlie Suff. The band grew f
rom a desire to build world with your closest friends where everyone is fr
ee to be strange\, expressive\, and completely themselves. The result is a
project that sits somewhere between an emerging Arcade Fire and a riotous
and angsty turn in step with The Strokes. and cathartic indie-rock saxoph
 one-drenched\, riff-driven\, and anchoredby Suff's raw\, poetic lead vocal
 s. Suff has long been captivated by the tension between potential and self
-doubt the way we can feel momentarily\, brilliantly alive and then sudden
ly\, inexplicably\, in our own way. Mamoko channels that question into mus
ic that doesn't wait around for an answer. It leans into the chaos. It thr
ows a party in the uncertainty. It invites you to arrive as whoever you ar
e right now and trust that's enough. For fans discovering Charlie for the
 first time through the band\, there's a door\, it's open\, and whatever's
on the other side is exactly what it sounds like.https://www.instagram.com
