DESCRIPTION:Join the University of Regina’s Department of Theatre at our
  20th Annual Distinguished Alumni Event to celebrate local artist and edu
 cator\, Jayden Pfeifer.\nJayden Pfeifer is a Regina-based independent thea
 tre artist whose professional practice as an actor\, director\, improviser
 \, and new work creator has spanned nearly 25 years. Jayden is an Artistic
  Associate with Curtain Razors\, and has been integral to the operations a
 nd vision of this multidisciplinary performance company. He has helped to 
 create Curtain Razors performance and community-based projects since 2015.
   \nJayden is an instructor with over 20 years of professional teaching e
 xperience. He specializes in improvisation\, ensemble work\, and new work 
 creation. He holds a BFA and MFA from the University of Regina\, and teach
 es sessionally at the UofR for the Department of Media\, Art\, and Perform
 ance\, the nitôncipâmin omâ Student Success Program\, and SUNTEP (Gabri
 el Dumont Institute). Jayden was the Regional Director for the Canadian Im
 prov Games (CIG) in Saskatchewan for 10 years\, and helped run the nationa
 l CIG Improv Camp for 6 years. \nJayden is known by colleagues and audien
 ces as an instinctual improviser\, thoughtful storyteller and dextrous col
 laborator. His aptitude to work physically in his art-making gives him a u
 nique signature in the field of theatre practice.\nWhile this event is fre
 e to attend\, seating is limited so we encourage everyone to reserve seats
