To see yourself reflected in the lan dscape?Earth To Us is an exhibition exploring nature\, memory\, belonging and joyful ecologies through the stories and experiences of queer people o f colour across the UK.Created by Touch Grass CIC\, the exhibition brings together analogue photography\, soundscapes\, artwork\, written reflection s and community archives gathered across camping trips\, conservation days \, hikes\, creative workshops and outdoor gatherings over the past few yea rs.At the heart of the exhibition is a simple but important question: Who gets seen\, remembered and imagined in nature?Through immersive storytelli ng and collaborative works\, the exhibition documents moments of joy\, res t\, tenderness\, friendship and connection outdoors — offering an altern ative archive of environmental belonging rooted in community care and live d experience.Whether you’re deeply connected to nature or simply curious \, Earth to Us invites you to slow down\, reflect and imagine new relation ships between community\, creativity and the outdoors.Contributing artists : Aileen Ye\, Ashantee Mykoo\, Bao-Yin Hall\, Jenbe\, Lee King-M\, Melz Ow usu\, Prishika Nagar\, Raneece Buddan\, Rumbidzai Savanhu & Salome Panther aFirepit Gallery Accessibility: From North Greenwich station to the venue there's one set of steps in the street but there is a ramp option. The gro und floor is accessible and has 1 accessible toilet with wheelchair space. There are 2 steps down to the room we will be using. There is a foldout ra mp available which has a 77cm clearance at the bottom of it to navigate th e stone firepit in the room. The room we will be using has plenty of soft furnishings and seating.Good to know: Photography and filming take place. Please let us know if you do not want to be on film. All material captured is used for either our social media or future promotion.How to get there: The nearest tube is North Greenwich on the Jubilee line. It is a 5 minute walk from there\, located right by the Thames Clipper stop. The gallery is on google maps. A 2020 report by Friends of the Earth found that near ly 40% of people from minority ethnic backgrounds in England live in the m ost green space-deprived neighbourhoods\, compared with only 14% of white people — and that people from minority ethnic backgrounds are significan tly less likely to spend time in the countryside than white people. We wan t to change this.
