 y celebration. Global artists\, friends and generations of sound system lo
 vers came together to pay their respects to “Muscle Head” and the Saxo
 n family\, with huge crowds gathering to celebrate the past\, present and 
 future of this legendary sound.\n\nFounded in London in the 1970s\, Saxon 
 became one of the most influential sound systems in British music history
 \, providing a platform for artists including Maxi Priest\, Papa Levi\, Ti
 ppa Irie and Smiley Culture\, while helping take UK reggae and sound syste
 m culture to audiences around the world.\n\nFor this very special occasion
 \, artists\, DJs\, selectors\, friends and members of the Saxon family –
  past and present – come together to honour an extraordinary 50 year jou
