 rles - Orchestra Mambo International is a UK‐based mambo\, cha cha\, sal
 sa dura and Afro‐Cuban jazz orchestra founded in 2022 by DJ Lubi and tro
 mbonist/bandleader Jonny Enright. What began as a one‐off concert in the
  north of England quickly turned into something much bigger\, as the chemi
 stry of the band and the response from audiences made it clear that this m
 usic had a life of its own.Since then\, they’ve played across the UK\, i
 ncluding Glastonbury Festival and a BBC 6 Music Maida Vale session\, build
 ing a reputation for joyful\, high‐energy performances rooted in the cla
 ssic sounds of Tito Puente\, Eddie Palmieri\, the Fania All‐Stars\, Ray 
 Barretto and Johnny Pacheco. Their debut album\, ¡Apúntalo! — named af
 ter the catchphrase of veteran Venezuelan singer Carlos “Pachanga” Pe
 ña — is released in September 2026 and delivers eight original tunes mo
 ving through mambo\, salsa dura\, pachanga\, son montuno\, Puerto Rican bo
 mba and Latin jazz\, honouring tradition while bringing a fresh UK perspec
 tive. The album is backed by a UK tour showcasing an international\, cross
 ‐generational line‐up and an explosive\, party‐starting Latin sound.
