A Mikoshi is a traditional portable shrine carried through th e streets during festivals\, carrying the deity and allowing people to exp erience the excitement of a traditional Japanese festival. It is truly a p owerful “moving shrine.” With the cooperation of the local neighborhoo d association that organizes the festival\, Oakhouse has prepared a specia l opportunity for you to experience carrying a Mikoshi! Surrounded by live ly chants and the sound of taiko drums\, why not experience a Japanese fes tival by carrying the Mikoshi together with the other participants? The Mi koshi event will be held in **Mukojima\, Sumida-ku\, Tokyo**\, where you c an enjoy a great view of Tokyo Skytree. We look forward to your participat ion! After the festival is over\, a social gathering for participants is a lso planned.
