 hop where you will learn the traditional textile repair technique of darni
 ng. Darning can be done to look as invisible as possible or as colourful a
 nd creative as you wish. The technique is the same for whichever style you
  choose.You are welcome to bring your own mend with you or we will have fa
 bric swatches or old socks that you can use to simulate a mend. We will ha
 ve a selection of yarns and embroidery threads available for use during th
 e workshop. If you have your own darning mushroom you are welcome to bring
  it\, otherwise we will be using tennis balls to support the fabric while
