 \, 2026)\, is a huge leap forward in ambition and focus\, darting between 
 misshapen free blues\, chamber folk\, blasted-out drone feedback\, and wha
 tever the two can throw at each other or find lying in between\, "Making F
 riends" is a reflection on a decade of friendship\, and a vivid document o
 f an eclectic\, sometimes chaotic\, and inspired musical dialogue.\n\nRowa
 n & Friends\n\nRowan and Friends began on the 30th of March 2022 when Rowa
 n Evans started his monthly residency at the Golden Ball Pub in York.\n\nS
 ince then\, many different musicians have played with him and he has playe
 d with many different musicians\, but his core principle stays the same: 
 “I write songs and sing them with my friends”.\n\nPopstar\, Superstar
 \n\nPopstar\, Superstar is a new project co-founded by Reuben Pugh of Trou
 tflies and Islay Wolstenholme of LULA. The driving force behind the band i
 s a love of lo-fi\, analogue music\, Bringing together Pugh’s signature 
 eerie\, matter of fact lyricism and LULA’s emotive storytelling and Amer
 icana Influences. The Band hopes to release their debut EP in late 2026.\n

 ome kind of charity shop small scale keyboard with the digital bossa groov
 e. I feel like I owe all of what I play now to that little keyboard.”\n
