 ed adults carving out knuckle-burning\, drywall-holing Punk Rock. The soun
 d travels a similar path first cleared by Circle Jerks and Zero Boys but t
 here's a sheen in the efficiency and tightness of this offering that build
 s on that prior work. The songs are scaled for an equal ratio of hooks and
  speed. Not relying purely on power or flash\, Imploders sit right in the 
 middle and are delivering some of the best Hardcore Punk since Personality
  Crisis walked the frozen plains of the Prairies. This style ain't broke a
 nd Imploders prove it doesn't require any fixing.\n\nWhen Index moves\, it
 ’s in lockstep\, as a single\, indivisible unit. Alan Creedon and Alex L
 ichtenauer (both ex-Control Top) started the project in the summer of 2025
 \, and it quickly became clear that its sound would be an outgrowth of the
 ir close friendship. Eschewing the densely orchestrated compositions of th
 eir previous band\, Index would instead focus on sweaty\, visceral physica
 lity\, with Creedon’s guitar intuitively latched to Lichtenauer’s drum
  kit\, navigating corridors of tricky rhythm as one. Vis Inertiae\, named 
 in homage to Nietzsche’s assertion that forgetting is not a passive act 
 of inertia but something one chooses with intention\, is the duo’s debut
  album\, and it realizes Index’s founding ambition. It’s a subversive 
 work of electronics-inflected hardcore punk\, but it’s also the sound of
  two longtime friends making music together\, reinvigorated by the act of
