DESCRIPTION:Silky Art Showcase is a Pole\, Dance & Performance Art show cre
 ated by Dance & Pole Artist\, Jane Silk.This showcase was created for any 
 style of dance - all movement valid\, all bodies welcome & all folks welco
 me**All folks welcome unless you're a TERF\, SWERF or any other kind of 
 ‘phobe’. Kind and respectful attendees only. This show is Queer/LGBTQI
 A+ run and allied with the SW community.This first addition includes an in
 credible line-up of performers from the Midlands and other places in the U
 K. A whopping 25 performers plus Guest Performers and a very special Host.
  The variety of performances will blow you away\, make you laugh\, cry\, f
 eel hot under the collar…all of the feelings to move and inspire.Alongsi
 de this\, we have a couple of local Artists exhibiting and selling their w
 ears as part of our Silky Art Gallery. There will also be a very special C
 harity Raffle in aid of supporting the Sx Workers Union with some great pr
 izes up for grabs. This event isn't just a show\, it is about bringing fol
 ks together and inspiring each other to create and connect.DOORS OPEN: 13:

 omfort breaks scheduled to allow for decompressing\, socialising or shoppi
 ng. Advised to bring a small cushion to sit on for extra comfort on the ch
 airs or floor.Travel/TransportThe venue is the New Art Exchange in Notting
 ham.There are frequent buses and trams that take you to this area of Notti
 ngham from the city centre. This is the preferred way of getting to the ve
 nue\, says the venue.We highly recommend arriving into Nottingham Train St
 ation or Bus Station where possible\, if travelling from outside of the ar
 ea\, then travelling from here to the venue. Otherwise\, below are all the
  options researched so far to help you as much as possible:The train stati
 on is an easy 14 min Tram or 25 min bus (Stop C4) then short walk.Uber ope
 rates in Notts\, the Uber from the Train Station is around £7 (15 mins)\,
  as an example.Trams are popular in Notts. They can be paid for with conta
 ctless (tap on\, tap off) or you can download the NETGO. app to pay too. G
 oogle Maps works well for directions and stops.ParkingParking options clos
 e by are:The Tram Park & Ride across the road from NAE (however you need t
 o buy a tram ticket in order to comply with parking here and validate your
  ticket but ok price). This is big car park so should be a good option. Q-
 Park Nottingham Central (22 min walk or 9 min Tram).Information on Notting

 \, tram or taxi to travel to venue from parking:Nottingham Train Station C
 ar Park has great prices for parking at the weekend. However is a bit furt
 her from the venue (9 minute drive or 18 minute tram but 45 minute walk).B
 roadmarsh Car Park (Tram 16 mins\, Bus (Stop C4) around 25 mins or walk 40
  mins)Victoria Centre Car Park (14 min Tram or 30 minute walk).Q-Park Talb

  spend in-store)\, then chargeable after that” - please contact ASDA for
  more information as this is a likely un-reliable option without prior kno
 wledge - but at least you can grab snacks pre-show. AccommodationNottingha
 m has plenty of hotels\, Airbnb's and accommodation options in the city ce
 ntre and surrounding area. Google Maps is a good place to start should you
