 rieville. Mize made his Grand Ole Opry debut in April 2022 and was invited
  back to play the Opry again that December. Hes released multiple extended
  play projects including Prairie Tapes Vol 1 recorded and produced entirel
 y at his studio in Andale\, KS and a duet project with his wife Jill Marti
 n (also a Kansas-native singer-songwriter) dubbed The Mizes. Hes given lis
 teners a Christmas record and multiple collaborations with artists such as
  Jessie James Decker\, Sam Grow\, Adam Hambrick and Grace Leer. In additio
 n\, Mize has crisscrossed the country on headlining tours and shared a sta
 ge with country legends from Eric Church to Jamey Johnson to Sawyer Brown.
  Hes created his own brand of a crowd-sourced acoustic tour that brings an
  intimate and up-close show to small towns across America.Its been a busy 
 three years. Mizes sixth full-length studio album Her Heartland was driven
  by several singles released in the last year. These singles anchor a reco
 rd thats an evolutionary step in blending country and heartland rock. The 
 songs weve recorded and released over the past year felt cohesive like the
 y should be on an album. Thats the way I still like to listen to music so 
 I feel like it should be presented that way\, said Mize.The title track He
 r Heartland opens the record with a baritone guitar groove and an instant 
 homage to the small-town Kansas life that shaped Mizes childhood and caree
 r: Shes the dust trails\, on that one road out of town. The record is dist
 inctively Logan Mize\, but listeners will hear some surprises all the way 
 to the last track The World Just Keeps Getting Better which brings back th
 e signature baritone groove in a witty\, cheeky ode to the wild world were
  living in.In my opinion this is the most melodically pleasing album Ive e
 ver released. It still has some punch to it but in a much more subtle way 
 than previous projects\, said Mize.Mize pushed himself vocally on this rec
 ord more than most of his releases\; hes (half)jokingly acknowledged that 
 some of the tracks are exceptionally difficult to sing live. All that work
  in the studio rewards listeners with powerful tracks that present authent
 ic vignettes of Mize as a person and artist. I think this is the first rec
 ord I can listen to my vocal all the way through and not hear a moment I r
 egret. Whether its a harsh tone\, wishing I had picked a different key or 
 comped another take. I like the vocal all the way through on this one\, sa
 id Mize. As far as careers for an independent artist go\, Mize has outlast
 ed and outworked the status quo. Her Heartland is a record that offers a g
