DESCRIPTION:ILLEGAL: Rave Flyers of the 90s is a 536-page\, encyclopedic co
 llection of rave flyers from the dawn of American rave culture\, packed wi
 th firsthand accounts straight from the source. During this event\, the bo
 ok will be physically available for purchase\, and the dance floor will be
  thrumming with the reckless abandon of 90s rave energy. We will be bringi
 ng you old and new generational DJs who are shaping the importance of keep
 ing history alive.\n\nPresenting DJ DB and DJ Three who each helped shape 
 90s rave culture in their own unique way. DB Burkeman is the founder of IL
 LEGAL’s publisher\, Blurring Books and is also to blame for bringing Jun
 gle to the United States from London. DB co-founded Breakbeat Science reco
 rdings and record store in Manhattan during the 90s\, as well as the iconi
 c NASA parties that can be instantly recognizable. Relentlessly committed 
 to the scene\, Blurring Books makes its own kind of disruptive noise with 
 publications spanning from drug ephemera to iconic pop imagery. His place 
 in drum and bass history can be seen in music documentaries such as ‘Mod
 ulations’ and ‘The American Jungle’ and whose all vinyl sets continu
 e to blend across various genres from his personal collection.\n\nDJ\, Pro
 ducer\, and Label boss DJ Three has been a champion of the scene since eme
 rging from Florida’s 1990s electronic underground scene. He built his re
 putation throwing one-off raves that brought international acts like Moby 
 and Doc Martin to Florida. DJ Three co-published the zine TRiP Magazeen (1
 992–1994) which serves as an invaluable record of electronic music’s r
 ise in America and has continued to tour domestically and internationally.
  As stated under his RA Exchange chat back in 2014\, “he's that rare dan
 ce music figure who truly lives up to the term DJ's DJ\, and the records h
 e's championed by way of Hallucination and especially its spinoff Hallucin
 ation Limited are revered by the likes of Cassy and Ricardo Villalobos.”
  His blends favor a moodier palette across house and techno\, a striking c
 ontrast to his sun-soaked Florida roots.\n\nAlso presenting two NYC locals
  Miss Parker & S4M23 whose sound and selector skills continue to fill up d
 ance floors across cities in the US and Europe. Miss Parker is a reigning 
 diva of the Brooklyn scene and perfectly encapsulates a DJ well-versed in 
 the fundamentals of the past\, alchemizing that knowledge to move dancers 
 in the present. \n\nS4M23 is a musician and DJ currently based in New York
  City by way of Chicago. S4M23 discovered her love for electronic music at
  a young age while surfing YouTube\, which has sent her into a lifelong di
 gging rabbit hole. Her meticulous selections reflect a wide range of influ
 ence centered around Midwestern machine funk\, whacked out mutant disco\, 
 and callbacks to vocal-heavy club anthems of the past\, present\, and futu
 re.  \n\nBringing together the past and future for an unforgettable evenin
 g of shared history and music.\n\n///\n\nEntry is at the discretion of our
  door staff. Online purchases are limited to four tickets maximum per pers
 on. If tickets are sold out here\, we always hold a good amount at the doo
 r. We will do our best to admit those without tickets but entrance is not

  space is in the driveway\, which is the access point most commonly used t
 o enter Nowadays. During parties the driveway gate is locked\, so please a
 sk staff at the street entrance for assistance with entry.\n\nAll of our b
 athrooms are gender-neutral. There is one accessible stall indoors. Just a
 sk any Nowadays staff member for the key\, and they can show you the way. 
 During parties\, seating is available both on and off the dance floor. Whi
 le we don’t have a dedicated quiet space indoors during parties\, the bo
 oths next to coat check are a little quieter\, and the deck and back yard 
 a little quieter than that. Most nighttime parties include the use of stro
