SUMMARY:Sotabosc + Support
LOCATION:Kranichsteiner Str. 81
h erinnern. Für die\, die widerstehen. Für die\, die hören. *** Emergin
g from the heart of Barcelona since 2023\, Sotabosc weave a sonic tapestry
that fuses the dark\, relentless fury of black metal with atmospheric exp
anse and epic depth. Their Catalan lyrics—carried by shimmering walls of
guitar and grand\, sweeping song structures—unfold an emotional intensi
ty that meanders between melancholy and revolt. With their pre-release El
Batec dels Maquis\, they make an unambiguous statement. The title is a tri
bute to the Maquisards—those forgotten fighters who waged their struggle
against fascism and oppression from the shadows of the mountains\, whethe
r resisting the German occupation or Franco’s regime. The EP is a monume
nt in sound\, a cry in notes that keeps the memory of that fight alive. So
tabosc don’t just create music\; they forge an anthem to the unbroken sp
irit. For those who remember. For those who resist. For those who listen.
