DESCRIPTION:Following on from our sold out mini-journal series\, we are exc
 ited to bring you a new anthology and exhibition of writing and art by tra
 ns makers.Our transness is being contested\, by the media\, by TERFs\, by 
 the government. They are coming for our right to exist\, to change\, to be
 come. To live well\, to live gloriously. Trans Tongues is not for them.Tra
 ns Tongues is full of trans life\, chest tape and NHS leaflets\, toilets a
 nd injections\, parents and lovers\, friends and community. It is also ful
 l of trans imagination\, ghostly houses and slipper limpets and worms. The
  work takes the form of manifestos and love poems\, paintings and photogra
 phy. It is at times painful and tender\, at others\, hot and hungry: a fea
 st.Trans makers open their mouths\, tell trans stories through their teeth
 \, fill pages and exhibition walls with words and images that fall off the
 ir tongues. Trans Tongues is for us\, and we hope you enjoy spending time 
 with the book and the exhibition.This project is kindly supported by the N
