DESCRIPTION:Join us for a summer social on the 23rd of October at the Bermo
 ndsey Bar and Kitchen\, right in the heart of London Bridge. Think drinks 
 in the sun\, live music\, a few introductions to groups of people with sim
 ilar interests and everyone single. Your ticket includes: - being matched 
 using our technology with groups of people who have similar interests - li
 ve music - light optional icebreakers - team haystack making introductions
  - access to our "missed connections" programme where we invite people to 
 connect who didn't exchange phone numbers (please note this is dependent o
 n both sides expressing interest and there is a process in place) The plan
 : From 6pm - arrive\, grab a drink and chat to some new people (94% of peo
 ple come alone and we float around making intros). 7.30pm - head to your f
 irst table to meet a group of people who we've used to science to curate y
 ou with. nothing intense\, just a half an hour drink in the sun with peopl
 e with similar interests\, age appropriate and who also happen to be singl
 e. we've updated our tech so groups are now optimised for both romantic bu
 t also platonic matches e.g people of your gender who we hope could become
  mates. the whole point of these tables is to feel like you're having a dr
 ink in the sun with friends\, with the added bonus of meeting new people a
 nd knowing everyone is single. after half an hour\, we'll take a short dri
 nks/bathroom break then you'll meet two more tables of people that we've c
 urated\, again for two 30 minute sessions. After groups - everyone speaks 
 to everyone and live music will kick off. our team are all floating if any
 one wants wingmanning and it'll basically become a big beer garden\, with 
 live music and none of the "I wonder if they're single" situation. 11.30pm

 ery hard to make events for single people that don't feel like a typical "
 dating event" which we know can feel very overwhelming. We just hire out g
 reat venues\, invest into fun entertainment\, and match single people toge
 ther into groups on the evening so you can go on multiple dates in a low-p
 ressure environment. There are always new dating apps popping up\, which a
 ll have the same culture of ghosting\, shallowness\, and let's be honest w
 e can barely keep up with our family's whatsapp chat let alone a dating ap
 p. What are our dating events? Our events use the power of tech to connect
  similar single people together. When you arrive to the venue you'll be gr
 eeted by our lovely reps\, and then you'll be introduced to your matched g
 roup. Depending on the event we will introduce you to another one or two r
 ounds of single people\, where we match you by differently weighting the p
 arameters of the algorithm. We re-invest profit into fun entertainment on 
 the evening so you have a great night regardless - and host a range of eve
 nts from relaxed drinks in a beer garden\, to something a bit more active 
 like arcade games\, to sporty events such as tag rugby or rock climbing. H
 ow do you match single people? When you buy a ticket you fill out a short 
 form with some questions about yourself mapped around research we conducte
 d to what leads to meaningful connections. We then run this through our al
 gorithm which is a propietary points based matching system using python to
  detect similarities between each person based on different parameters. We
  then spend hours going through each person to make sure there has been no
  discrepancies in the data and even more hours to make sure the group ages
  and ratios are appropriate. Afterwards we analyse each table to make sure
  they are placed near tables we think we will match well\, and that are in
  the best place in the venue based on what we know about the group. How do
 es it work with data? All data is securely managed in line with our data p
 olicy\, both this and our code of conduct can be found here How does it wo
 rk with social media? We’re a sociable bunch and always like to take sho
 rt video clips for our social media. We’ll always avoid faces wherever p
 ossible\, but if you’d rather stay 100% off camera please just come and 
 let the team know on the night so we can make a conscious effort to keep y
 ou out of any frame! What's the cancellation policy? There’s a huge amou
 nt of work behind the scenes before events to get everyone matched into gr
 eat groups. If you need to transfer your ticket to a friend\, we do ask pl
 ease that you pop us an email with their name 7 days before an event so we
  can move things around. As with every other events company in our space\,
  we are unable to facilitate refunds\, but we will always do our 100% best
  to find a solve!x What’s the age group? The average age is 33 but we te
 nd to attract from early 20s to mid 40s and groupings take age into accoun
 t. Is this event wheelchair accessible? Yes\, we will never work with a ve
 nue that isn’t :) Is this a speed dating event? Absolutely not. The thou
 ght of having to effectively pitch yourself\, every two minutes\, to a str
 anger\, is our worst nightmare and feels the furthest thing in the world a
 way from natural. These events are designed to feel organic and literally 
 like you're having a drink with a group of new friends\, in a great venue.
  You'll never see or feel any of the science we do behind the scenes and w
 e match in groups to take the pressure off a one on one meet-up. Zero pres
 sure\, literally just fun\, kind people\, who have similar interests and a
