  crafting their own personal brand of sun-dappled indie-folk. The duo had 
 been dating for two years before they decided to start casually writing so
 ngs together\, bringing their most vulnerable moments into music.\nIt was 
 only months before they were invited to play at some of Canada’s major f
 olk festivals\, and in the year following\, they released their debut albu
 m Awake! (2024). Their debut was full of wonder\; the album brought soarin
 g harmonies\, rich layers of melodies mingling with one another\, and lyri
 cs that dance alongside the mix of string and brass instruments creating a
  fusion of bluegrass\, pop\, and indie. In Like a Lion\, Out Like a Lamb (
 2025)\, the duo’s sophomore album\, punctuated the duo’s journey with 
 a spot in CKUA’s Top Ten. Jed and the Valentine wear their hearts on the
