 onic music project by Martin Jenkins. He deals in an eerie\, fragile strai
 n of electronic music mixing the Radiophonic/Library music sound\, sometim
 es with a post-punk influence that aligns him firmly with such seasoned ha
 untologists as Mordant Music\, Belbury Poly\, and The Advisory Circle.\n\n
 Jenkins refers to himself as the mysterious and nameless Head Technician i
 n most of his online profiles\, and extra detail is taken to make the audi
 o and visual elements of his performances look and sound worn and vintage.
 \n\nPCA first came to attention with four volumes of Black Mill Tapes on h
 is own label\, Pye Corner Audio Transcription Services. Like his contempor
 aries Demdike Stare and Ghost Box\, Martin seemed to be tapping into some 
 hidden energy current\, channeling spirits via electrical means. The pione
 ering transmissions of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop could be detected lurk
 ing within the music’s staticky swirl\; so could the ominous throb of Jo
 hn Carpenter’s film soundtracks.\n\nWhile the musical landscape has shif
 ted over the years\, Pye Corner Audio’s retro-futurist transmissions rem
 ain timelessly compelling\, resembling a rickety tape transfer of a collec
 tive nostalgia\, waiting to be rediscovered.\n\nThe fifth volume of Black 
 Mill Tapes arrived on Lapsus Records in 2021\, followed by Entangled Route
 s on Ghost Box and Let’s Emerge! on Sonic Cathedral\, which featured And
 y Bell’s guitars and saw some tracks remixed by Sonic Boom. He has also 
 contributed numerous singles and EPs that come across as mini-albums for l
 abels including Death Waltz\, Lapsus\, and Ecstatic.\n\nIn 2024\, Jenkins 
 returned to Ghost Box with The Endless Echo and debuted on Emotional Respo
 nse with two acid-infused EPs. This year\, Where Things Are Hollow: No Tom
 orrow on Lapsus Records brings together remastered tracks from the first t
 wo volumes\, along with new material and new reinterpretations by artists 
 such as Alessandro Cortini\, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith\, Lord Of The Isles\, a
 nd Surgeons Girl.\n\nJune 2026 saw the release of ‘More Songs About The 
 Sun’ on Sonic Cathedral. This LP sees PCA taking their sound to brighter
