 tuoso violinist\, classically trained but known for his jazz and improvisa
 tional pyrotechnics and irresistible grooves. He is also a powerhouse voca
 list\, capable of silky crooning à la Nat King Cole as well as visceral C
 hicago blues shouts. Rob has performed nationally and internationally with
  artists such as B.B. King and Tower of Power and has written music for ch
 oreographers\, films\, and several original projects.Rob Flax’s Boom Chi
 ck Trio is a Boston-based\, genre-defying supergroup that features Slava T
 olstoy\, guitarist\, singer\, and producer\, originally from St. Petersbur
 g\, Russia. His International String Trio fuses Gypsy Jazz with World Musi
 c\, and Slava has toured across the United States many times on guitar. Ro
 unding out the group is bassist Felix Sartori\, who has performed with the
  likes of Peter Rowan and Twisted Pine and from Anchorage\, Alaska\, to Ac
