 asterful guitar arrangements that showcase impressive skills while giving 
 the songs themselves the space to shine.Matt\, who also performs in the Do
 vetail Trio with Rosie Hood and Jamie Roberts\, is renowned for his tradit
 ional singing as well as his skills on the melodeon\, concertina and mando
 lin. Originally from Brighton and now residing outside Sheffield\, Matt ha
 s performed both on the UK folk scene and further afield\, from small folk
  clubs to Glastonbury and WOMAD and appearances in the Netherlands and Ice
 land.Jo Girdlestone taught herself to play guitar as a child\, busking in 
 her youth\, studying drama and music at Kent University and working for ma
 ny decades in theatre as an actor musician and as a songwriter. These days
  she's been featured on BBC Radio Kent Folk and regularly gigs around her 
 home patch in south-east London and beyond. Jo’s love of stories drives 
 her song writing - described as lyric driven\, filmic\, folky\, spiritual 
 and elemental. Releases include her debut album Somewhere Before (2021). J
 o is joined this evening by Scottish songwriter and multi-instrumentalist 
 Malcolm MacWatt\, no stranger to TwickFolk and a unique voice in British f
